What is the Chocolate Study?

The Chocolate Study is located at Oregon Research Institute in Portland, Oregon.  The purpose of this study is to determine whether people are different in the way that their brains respond to food.  


This is an fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) study that will use brain imaging to test whether there are differences in how brains respond when you taste chocolate and look at food images.  



We are currently recruiting teens (14-16 years old) to complete yearly assessments over three years.  Participants can receive MRI brain images, $105 in two weeks, and $420 over the course of the study!
